Introducing Bob Golding from Devizes and Pete Anstey from Corsham, Wiltshire. We are off to Mongolia in July. Bob ‘s a builder and Pete ‘s a plumber when he remembers to go to work. Both of us are old enough to know better but, hey, life is for living, the kids have left home and we have their inheritance to spend.
Originally we thought of going on Honda C90s but had to throw that idea out with the empty beer bottles. Anyone want an all terrain C90? After more beer and little thought we discounted the BWM 1200GS and settled on a pair of 1976 vintage Honda CG125s. Total cost of both bikes £162. Probably less than the cost of a BMW service. That’s the bikes sorted.

With 3 days left my bike is still in bits. The new HT coil packed up on my way to London to get my Passport. Worse still Bob is in bits. He left his contact lenses in overnight and pulled the front of his eyeball off when he took it out. Ouch. He can’t see much at the moment but why worry he should get through the London traffic quicker on Saturday tied to me with a bit of string so I don’t loose him. Bye for now |
